Sizing comes down to three numbers: Inner Diameter, Outer Diameter, and Total Length. The inner diameter is the size of the pipe the tip slides onto, so it has to match your exhaust pipe's outer diameter. The outer diameter is the visible opening on the outlet end, and the total length is how far the tip extends from the clamp point to the tip. So a tip listed as (5"-6"-12") means a 5" inner diameter, 6" outer diameter, and 12" total length.
